In the beginning of the week Saniya resumed her training after the long absence from the tennis circuit due to the Knee injury received during the Dubai Open tournament.

She was accompanied by her father Imran Mirza. It was learnt that after training on her favorite surface (hard court) for few weeks, Saniya would decide about the comeback date.
