Saniya bares the facts about her poor run in the recent tournaments.

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza told that she pulled an abdominal muscle during her quarterfinal loss to Italian Flavia Pennetta during Japan Open tournament. After that she struggled through the tournaments in Moscow and Zurich, without much success. It was very difficult to perform with the injury refusing to heal. Therefore she decided to pull out of Linz and Quebec City tournaments scheduled in the latter part of this year. It’s the same kind of injury she suffered earlier in the summer before the French Open. Sania has been advised rest and will now take a complete break from the game.

Sania said that it was a long and hard year for her, where she was forced to make repeated comebacks due to two serious injuries and a surgery. It is true that Sania is mentally tired and her body is literally crying for a break.

Therefore we would like to wish her a speedy recovery with Lot of luck for the forthcoming fixtures while she takes on the court sometime next year.

Sania crashes out of Zurich Open too.

All of a sudden things are not working for Sania, she has to bow out of the $1.3 million Zürich Open WTA event in the first round. Sania conceded a 6-1, 6-4 defeat to Michaella Krajicek. Very recently she was shown the door in the Kremlin Open too. She was not able to convert her breakpoints and gave away the match to the young Dutch girl easily. It was very sad.

in the Doubles Sania has teamed up with Patty Schnyder let us see how far she goes in the doubles event. Meanwhile the news is out that Sania will again lead her country’s challenge at the Hopman Cup later this year.

Now let us pray that the Power to be with Her.

Sania out from Japan Open.

It is really hard to understand the mechanism of loosing the game Sania plays. Till now Sania was sailing smoothly but all of a sudden she lost her rhythm and tempo.

The match was progressing well all of a sudden Sania started a series of double faults and unforced errors against her opponent Flavia Pennetta of Italy, and finally lost the match at 6-4, 6-4.

Please Sania wake up now and win some big titles for us.

Its smooth sailing in Japan Open till now.

After getting much needed rest, Sania is back again with a bang. She has advanced to the Quarter final stage of the tournament not facing any big danger. However Australian Casey Dellacqua tried to give her some shock before being beaten by Sania in 3 sets 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in the second round.

The Indian tigress is hungry and on a prowl for the titles. She has well learned her lessons from her previous tournaments earlier this year.

Let the Indian flag fly high, kudos to Sania. Well done.
